Job Description:

pāco manufacturing, a Precision Automation® Company, is seeking a skilled & motivated Machine Shop Services Sales Representative in the greater Louisville, KY area. This individual will exhibit experience and technical expertise with machine shop services and other applicable industrial machining and fabrication services.

The ideal candidate should:

• Demonstrate expertise in machine shop procedures, practices, and capabilities related to CNC milling, turning, grinding, forming, welding, and fabrication
• Possess the ability to read drawings
• Demonstrate a knowledge of materials and surface finishes
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Solicit business from new and existing customers
• Be proficient in preparing customer quotations, addressing questions, and performing quote follow-ups as necessary
• Establish processes for a machine shop to execute jobs
• Show an enthusiasm to tackle unique challenges that arise in varying customer applications

Supported by a strong team of mechanical and controls engineers, the candidate will be expected to identify prospective customers, respond to their needs, work with them to identify areas for improvement, develop and provide quotations for the machine shop services they require, and support the customer through successful completion of the project.

• Experience with machine shop services and sales
• Technical knowledge of machine shop processes, materials, and surface finishes
• Ability to travel and visit prospects to evaluate needs or to promote products and services
• Ability to project manage, as necessary
• Perform prospecting and business development activities
• Ability to estimate cost and generate quotations for customers
• Attend applicable trade shows with pāco and Precision Automation sales team
• Appropriate computer skills pertaining estimating, quoting, and ERP data entry
• Effectively manage time and priorities to meet sales goals
• Attend scheduled monthly Sales Meetings
